Shelley Brown
Chair, Appointed by the GovernmentShelley Brown is a Senior Audit Partner with Deloitte with a client portfolio consisting of public companies primarily in the mining industry. She was formerly the Managing Partner for Deloitte Saskatchewan and currently has responsibilities in Vancouver and Saskatoon. Ms. Brown was the former Chair of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and the first Chair of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada and worked through the unification of the accounting profession in Canada.
She is a graduate of the College of Commerce, now the Murray Edwards School of Business, and is a Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA). Ms. Brown is currently a member of the Board of Deloitte Canada having been elected for three consecutive terms and also a member of the Board of Covenant House Vancouver and the Board of Trustees of Huskie Athletics. She is the Chair of the Board of the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Ms. Brown was appointed by government to the University of Saskatchewan Board of Governors in July 2017 and appointed Board Chair as of January 1, 2019.
